Hi folks,
I have reinstalled an esxi host after a crash preserving local VMFS datastore. There's no shared storage across all 4 esxi hosts, all virtual desktops running on local SSD's.
There was about 3 pools in that hosts, I manualy registered all desktops in the previsiously VMFS datastore. Until that everything's fine. My problem is that the replica vm used to linked clone desktops is registed with the hosts, but now is unprotected and I want to protect again to ensure that nobody could delete or change it.
This kb : VMware KB: Re-protecting a View replica virtual machine have instructions how to do it in view composer version 3.0 and below, but for View Composer 5.2 the "sviconfig -operation=protectentity" seems to removed. Does anybody have some idea how to do it in composer 5.2 ?
