Does anyone knows how the lock files get created when a user logs in to VMware View 4.1 or where the target path for that lock file is setup?
I currently have issues with users logging into physical machines and virtual machines at the same time. What happens is, when a user logs in the virutal machine, a lock file get created in the user profile (\\path\to\profile\user\{bunch of letters and numbers}\VMname.0.lck). After that, if they logs in a physical machine, Windows Roaming profile kicks in and try to copy the users profile but exit that with an error because of permission issue on that lock file. The user then gets a temporary profile on the physical machine.
I have Windows roaming profile enables and persona enabled with the "override AD path" enabled. Both path points to different folders.
Anyone have seen that before?
