I currently have a ~1,000 VDI desktop View 5.0 system that utlizies16 ESX5i servers in two clusters. Instead of using linked-clones and thin apps, we leverage a Unidesk solution. About half of my VDI desktops are Non-Persistent (NP) that refresh once a end user logs out. So my vCenter database is very busy. My SQL DBA also tells me that the she need to delete the archive files on the [VIM_VCDB] database. We have really never done any vCenter related database maintenance to our VDI vCenter. I am looking for any guidance or direction on this process. Are they any best practices links to follow, etc?
Thanks in advance...
Scott
