In our organization not all people that has eye problems will buy reading glasses.
So a lot of people changed their screen resolution and DPI settings on their currently fat client.
But we will change to thin clients. Windows 8 embedded including the vmware view client 2.x using PCOIP!
When launching the view client you can set the display:
- Full screen
- Multimonitor
- Window large/small / custom
- etc
So for example i choose for 1024 * 768.
The result is a window!, and inside the VM PCOIP still use the native screen resolution, and all other display settings are also blocked. (greyed out)
What i want is the same that is possible with a tera2 zero client.
Choosing the Resolution that will be used inside the target desktop VM (before launching the VM).
We will use linked clones, thus i don't want to do manual settings inside the vm.
Is VMware already working on this?
