Hello-
We have been using VMware for several years now and just this past weekend we recomposed several pools to apply MS updates. Monday we received several calls from users stating that they could not log into their VM. It was because the VM had lost it's trust from the domain. We were able to refresh several of them to fix it. Other's that did not work and we were forced to build them a new VM. In the past we have also had users contact us with the same issue but their VM had not been trouched for several weeks.
Why all of a sudden are the VM's losing their trust with the domain? I understand about the machine password not matching with what's on the DC but how can we avoid this? Is there a command that can be ran on the image prior to creating a snapshot? I'm out of ideas now. I have a call into Microsoft to help with this, but not sure when they will return the call.
