I have several virtual desktops in a View 4.6.3 environment where I can't re-install the VMware View Agent.
The installation fails with the following:
VMware View Agent Installer Information
Error 1920.Service VMware View Composer Guest Agent Server (vmware-viewcomposer-ga) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start the system services.
I have removed Agent, rebooted, removed VM Tools, rebooted, re-installed VM Tools, rebooted and attempted to re-install the View Agent.
The issue is not consistent to a Pool or a base image that a Pool is created from - it is sporadic and driving me crazy.
Anyone see this problem and have a fix?
