Hi all,
We're experiencing the following issue: Small testing pool, dedicated assignment; when the user logs in there are three drives: C: (system) D: (persistent disk) E: (disposable disk).
We configured Persona Management "by the book": Network share with proper permissions, GPO, loopback processing enabled, etc. It does not work with dedicated assignment pools.
- When the user logs in, the user's folder is created on the shared location (e.g. \\sharedserver\profiles$\jdoe.V2)
- When the user changes his profile, the changes are indeed replicated to the shared location.
- When the user logs off, the changes are again replicated to the shared location.
The problem arises when the users logs in from a different machine in the pool (e.g. a spare desktop) or when the pool is recreated. I get an error message saying "Your profile is not completely synchronized - you have been logged in with a temporary profile". And the user's profile does not show up at all.
I can see that the changes have been replicated from the profile repository \\sharedserver\profiles$\jdoe.V2 to the persistent disk (D:\users\jdoe), but not to the C:\users\jdoe, and windows seems to be taking the changes from there.
This problem does NOT happen with floating pools - I've tested it. It also proves my GPOs and share permissions are properly configured.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Pablo
