View Agent Needs Jump Start

Hi there,

 

When ever one of our linked clones is restarted it takes 10-15 minutes for it to become available to a view client.  If you look at the view console its status will show as "Startup".  If you look at the guest in vsphere client it appears to be completely up and running.  My work around for this has been to jump start the View Agent service remotely with pstools:

 

psservice \\via5009 restart WSNM

 

With in seconds after doing so the status is changed to "Available" and I am able to login.

 

I'd love to know a proper fix for this.  I would appreciate any feedback what so ever.  Thanks

* View Connection server - 5.1.1

* View Agent - 5.1.2

* VMware tools - 8.6.5

* View Composer server - 5.1.1
