we have a master image in vcenter 5.0 with multiple snapshots. we need to copy it to new vcenter 5.5 for horion view link clone. when image-a copy and added into inventory , all ok. but when I copied image-b folder from data store to new vcenter 5.5, uploaded to new data store, added to inventory, all snapshots gone.
we cannot have down time and the new vcenter cannot share the datastore of the old one. old esxi use local HDD.
