I've been reading F5's deployment guide for using F5 BIG IP to load balance two View 5.2 (and eventually 6.0) connection servers. In my instance i'm trying to figure out how to load balance two connection servers for internal users, but due to security reasons, I need to keep RDP sessions to terminal servers proxied through the connection servers (i.e. need to leave Secure Tunnel enabled). Is this possible? the F5 guide doesn't mention RDP anywhere other than in the context of security server ports, but it does specifically say to disable Secure Tunneling as one of the implementation steps. Can F5 do this properly, or can any LB option do it properly?
requirements:
load balance 2 internal view 5.2 connection servers (and 6.0 in the future)
leave Secure Tunnel enabled so RDP to Terminal Servers is proxied through the connection servers (this will also affect USB redirection by VMware's design)
RSA 2-factor authentication for all View sessions
HTML Access
USB redirection needs to function
