receive error message: couldn't resolve proxy name

I am running into a problem when non-privileged users run the VMware Horizon View Client, they receive the message "Couldn't resolve proxy name" when trying to connect to the server to request a VM session. However privileged users (local admin, and domain admin) are able to run the client without a problem and get access to a VM.

 

I have, in testing,  tried to remove all restrictions and give the test user local and domain admin rights but there seems to still be something preventing users from contacting the Horizon View server.

 

The client machines having trouble connecting are running version 2.3.3 of Horizon View and are running Windows XP SP3

 

Also, the way everything is set up is that a scheduled task is pushed out with group policy that runs Horizon View Client as soon as a user logs in to a physical client machine; is there a recommended way to set this up or is the scheduled task method sufficient?
