Hi. I am trying to rollout an upgrade to Horizon View Client 3.1.0 but am running into the error message "Error. Couldn't resolve hostname" on startup.
We currently use Wyse thin clients with Win 7 embedded, not domain joined. VMware Horizon Client is added to startup, and Auto connect to the server is selected so that the users are presented with the log in box after a machine boots. The FQDN is entered for the server name.
The error message appears to come from the connection to the load balancing server trying to launch before the connection to the network is established. It looks like the connection times out. This however was not a problem with the previous version.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve this?
