When any user uses Horizon View to log into floating pool 'C' at remote site 'K' the local USB printer goes offline. When attempting a print in Horizon View the print job successfully leaves the Thin Print printer queue but it doesn't print. Minimising the session the job is stuck in the queue on the local PC and the printer status shows as "Use printer offline". When the user logs out of their Horizon View session the documents start to print and the status is cleared.
This effect isn't seen when logging into dedicated pool 'IT'. Aside from checking the versions of the agent and VMware tools installed on all the VMs I'm struggling to think of any settings that affect printing on a pool by pool basis - does anyone have any advice for me please?
We are running Horizon View 5.3 on the servers.
