I have several Win7 VMs with the same issue. Although they have the same version of vmware tools as the esxi they keep showing that the vm tools are out of date. That issue appeared after installing the horizon agent. I uninstalled both of them and re-installed them but the issue remains. I checked that vmware kb (VMware KB: VMware Tools shows an out of date status on a View Desktop after installing the View Agent ) but as you can see at the screenshots below I do have installed a 6.0.1 version of the horizon agent and the monolithic version at the VMs are 9.7.2 and not 9.4.6 or even 9.4.5. So anyone else have that issue?
