Help generate SSL certificate for security server

Hi Folks,

We have one security server(ss-01.mydomain.local) and one connection server(cs-01.mydomain.local). Now planning to install a ssl certificate on Security Server. What should be the common name.

our internet URl is something like access.mydomain.local.

Also we are planning to install SSL only on security server for internet access , will it affect internal users accessing connection server.
