Could someone please give me a definite Yes or No as to whether it's possible to clone or duplicate the desktop on to two monitors? At the moment, the desktop is extended onto the other display.
Using View 5.1 & Dell Wyse P25 (firmware 4.0.3) with two displays (1 VGA/DVI and 1 display port)
I've tested a pool of Windows 7 linked clones with 2 displays and 3D rendering enabled. Similar pool with 4 displays, maximum resolution and 3D disabled and also a Windows XP pool.
I've set GPO to enable display settings within the Windows Control panel.
In Windows 7, using the Win+P keyboard shortcut, clicking 'Duplicate' appears to toggle between disabling the 2nd display or Extend.
If I connect to one of the afore mentioned pools from a multi monitor workstation using the client, the default is again 'Extend' and Win+P and 'Duplicate' places the desktop halfway in between the two monitors!?
Thanks.
