how to File Type association

Hi,

i use a windows 7  windows client to connect to a windows server 2008 r2 with rdhs. i now want to use the file type association for example for notepad or stuff like this. i enalbe the checkbox under share but it does not work. I also of course have connection server 6.2

Do i need to enable anything else?
