The SAM database on the Windows Server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship.

Hello,

I am running VMware View 6.2.0 build-3005368, I have Windows 7 automated floating linked-clone non-persistent pool and am seeing the following error when a user tries to log into the pool:

“The SAM database on the Windows Server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship.”

I am using “QuickPrep” and I have the “Allow reuse of pre-existing computer accounts” checked (I still see the error if I uncheck this box also).  I have tried each of the settings (Delete Immediately and Refresh Immediately).

The error shows up randomly on machines, I see no errors when the machine is created.  I may go a few weeks without seeing the problem.

Does anyone have any insight on the error and how I can avoid the desktop getting this error?
