Slightly confused and I may be missing something simple.
We have a simple setup...one View Connection server and 80 LAN based clients...all has been well for years and we are on version 5.3.4.
We added a certificate to our View Connection server, punched a few holes through the firewall and made it so that connections work over the internet.
To get that to work with PCoIP I had to of course check the option PCoIP Secure Gateway and PCoIP for External URL and specified the correct external IP address of our View Connection server.
This works perfectly over the internet.
But that makes internal LAN clients fail over PCoIP because they go looking for the external IP and they have issues with that...if I uncheck the "Use PCoIP Secure Gateway for PCoIP connections to the desktop" then the LAN clients connect via PCoIP fine.
Our firewall is managed and hosted by a third party.
How is it possible to make both LAN clients and clients on the internet work at the same time? How can LAN clients work when the option is checked to use the PCoIP Secure Gateway External URL IP address and that is the external IP of the View Connection server? Is this a firewall issue or am I missing something simple?
