So I have a Win 7 master with a 60GB hard disk (thin).
The master has three snapshots, each with slightly different configurations for three different pools.
When I create an linked clone from one of the snapshots (Automated, non-dedicated, refresh at logoff), the replica has two VMDKs.
As far as I can tell, this is causing us storage issues as all clones created from this replica also have 2 VMDKs - I assume they are both thin provisioned 60GB, so ~120GB space is being reserved (+ mem).
This is causing space issues.
Any advice on why the replica based on a snapshot has two VMDKs?
