Do all internal/external PCOIP have to traverse PCOIP Secure GW?

I have an existing 5.01 View Connection server for internal users.  I want to add desktops that will be DMZd and accessing View desktops remotely via PCOIP.

If I add a Security server in the DMZ and enable the PCOIP Secure GW service,  pair it with my internal Connection server,  will it then force all PCOIP connections (internal and external) to go through the PCOIP Secure GW?  This article seems to say that:

http://blogs.vmware.com/kb/2011/03/using-the-pcoip-secure-gateway-to-extend-pcoip-connections.html#.UUCbVlfpWuw

Also note that the use of the PCoIP Secure gateway is configured from a Connection Server and applies to a Connection server and Security Server pair. Where there is only one Connection server and Security Server all users, both external and internal will need to use the PCoIP Secure Gateway and the gateway must be run on both the connection Server and the Security server.

Also,  if these new VDI sessions need to be DMZ'd from internal production View desktops,  is it acceptable to place these desktops in the DMZ and enable FW rules to allow these desktops limited access to internal resources?

Thanks,
