Portrait display mode on Windows 7 VPC

I have successfully rotated a zero client (Wyse P25) to display in potrait mode on a 52" LCD.  But upon logging into the VM / Windows 7 client, I get booted off back to the logon screen. We're running VMView 5.0 and the driver I'm using on the Windows 7 64-bit guest is VMware SVGA 3D version 7.14.1.1061

Figuring it might be configuration issue within Windows 7 itself.  I tried going through disply setting to rotate it manually, but that option is NOT available.  Does anyone know if there a way to force the display setting at the VM level to display in portrait mode?  Is it a driver limitation within the VMware video driver?  Has anyone been successful in displaying VM's in potrait modes on Window's 7 using Zero / Thin clients?

Thanks!
