So I created a user in vsphere with Administrator privileges (i know i can scale this back.. a task for after i get things working). I was able to get my Connection Server to establish a connection with vSphere Server (without View Composer enabled). So that works OK.
Now I'm trying to edit the vCenter Server item on the Connection Server.. I want to enable the View Composer feature I had installed on vCenter Server. Since I co-located Composer on the vCenter Server, i select that option.. and the default port, 18443. I'm prompted to accept a non-signed certificate.. OK..
But then I get an error message "There was a communication fault. Probably due to wrong credentails or permission settings."
I'm having trouble figuring this out, as the credentials were good to connect to vCenter in the first place.. but not good enough to connect to Composer? what gives?
