I searched and read the other posts I could find on this before posting. I also read all the KB articles I could find.
I'm working thru the Reviewer's Guide for View Horizon 6 (http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/view/VMware-View-Evaluators-Guide.pdf), but am running into issues attempting to deploy a Full-Clone Desktop Pool (p. 129). I initially had a similar issue w/ the Linked-Clone Desktop Pool, until I came across KB 1026556. The Status ultimately errors out. Once I changed the Registry to Skip License Activation, those created just fine. However, I don't see that reg key on the W2K8R2 machine. I've tried both w/ out entering a valid key in the Customization Specification Profile (used a MAK license when I did use a key).
The VM clones/creates just fine, customization occurs and VM joins the domain just fine. Agent Service starts and stays running and I can telnet just fine to the Horizon View Composer server on 4001 from the VM. I can even assign the machine to myself and start to make a Direct Connect (the plug-in is installed), but I get the message that I don't have entitlement. I'm also not seeing anything noteworthy in the logs. Thinking about re-installing the Agent and trying for the fourth time.
