View Connection Server 5.2 Upgrade Error "User does not have Sufficient Privileges"

Yesterday, I posted a problem I was having with upgrading the Composer, which has now been solved. The next step is upgrading the Connection Server, but I have run into an issue here as well. Upon running the 5.2 executable, I get an error message with regard to user permissions. The message I'm receiving is:

"The currently logged in user does not have sufficient privileges on the existing Directory Services instance. Please log in as a user with full View Administrator rights and then retry this installation." (screenshot attached)

I am logged in to this 2k8 R2 Server using an account with Doman Admin, Local Admin, and View Admin privileges. Upon reviewing the log file for the failed installation, I notice these lines towards the end:

...

serverInstUtil: 04/04/13 10:30:46 DN = ou=Groups,dc=vdi,dc=vmware,dc=int
serverInstUtil: 04/04/13 10:30:46 LDAP search failed - 32 (No Such Object).
serverInstUtil: 04/04/13 10:30:46 ERROR: The user does not have full View Administrator rights on the existing LDAP instance.
serverInstUtil: 04/04/13 10:30:48 End Logging

...

It's trying to authenticate to some local LDAP, rather than the internal LDAP we specified during installation. Is this normal behavior?
